Background replacement
Car background replacement for dealer stock
Photograph the car where it is parked. The lot, the fence and the sky go; the car stands on one of 260+ lit studio sets, with a reflection and a shadow worked out for that car, not stamped on.
- 260+ studio sets
- Window glass and tilt fixed too
- Change the studio later
What the console does
More than a cut-out on a backdrop.
Removing the lot is the easy part, and on its own it leaves a car floating on a picture. These are the steps that stand it on the floor.
A calibrated set
Showroom floors, turntables, open roads: 260+ of them, each with the car's size and its place on the floor set for that studio.
Reflection and shadow
Computed for this car on this floor, so it stands on the set instead of hovering over it.
Window glass
The old background showing through the windows is replaced along with the rest.
Tilt straightening
Shot on a slope or at a slant? The car is levelled before it is placed.
Number plates
Cover the registration, or put the dealership's own plate on the car. Plates and logos
Wheel close-ups
Switch them on for your dealership and detail shots of the wheels get a studio floor too, tread intact.
Same photo, any set
Change the studio after the shoot.
Re-render the same car on a different set as often as you like. It is still the same vehicle, so it costs nothing more.

One AI-generated demo sedan, photographed once and rendered on six of the 260+ sets.

How it works
Shot on the lot. Listed from the studio.
- 1
Shoot it where it stands
Any phone. One walk round the car; the console's angle guide shows which shots make a full set.
- 2
Pick the studio
From 260+ sets, or your own with your logo on the wall.
- 3
Download or publish
Download the images, put the spin on your site, or have the API call your endpoint when the render is done.
What it costs
Priced by the car, not the photo.
One vehicle is one price, however many angles it takes: up to 30 photos on a studio set, the 360° spin and the video tour. Re-render it on another set and it is still the same vehicle.
- 30photos restaged on a studio set
- 1360° spin, up to 72 frames
- 1video tour

Questions
Asked before the first car.
Do I need a studio, a turntable or special lighting?
No. Any phone, wherever the car is parked: the lot, the kerb, the workshop yard. The studio, the light and the floor come from the set you pick.
Will it look like a cut-out pasted onto a picture?
That is what the extra steps are for. The car is levelled, placed at the size the set was built for, the glass is restaged, and the reflection and shadow are computed for that car. Drag the before-and-after at the top of the page to compare.
Can I change the background after the photos are rendered?
Yes. Re-render the same vehicle on another set whenever you like. It is the same vehicle, so it costs nothing more.
How long does a render take?
Once the GPU is running, a studio photo takes seconds and a spin a few minutes. If nobody has rendered for a while it has to start first, which adds one to two and a half minutes to the first job.
Can I use my own showroom instead?
Put your dealership's logo on the wall of one of our studios and it becomes a set only your dealership shoots in. That comes with the Lot plan and up; see plates, logo and banners.
Try it on three of your own cars.
No card, no call. Photograph them where they are parked and see what comes back.
